Ariel Vercelli is president of the 'ONG Bienes Comunes' and leader of Creative Commons Argentina. He is founder of many initiatives about digital commons in Latin America:

• Aprender la Libertad [To Learn Freedom] for educational purposes,
• Librecultura [Free Culture] and
• Negocios Abiertos [Open Business in Spanish].

Ariel wrote two books and many articles about new regulations in the cyberspace. At present, Ariel is fellow of CONICET [National Council of Research in Science and Technology] and Phd candidate in the National University of Quilmes. He has a Master in Political Science and Sociology from the FLACSO Argentina and many post-graduated studies in new technologies.

Ariel is Notary Public from 'National University of Rosario' and Lawyer from National University of Mar del Plata'. He worked as professor in many Universities, such as the 'University of Buenos Aires and the 'National University of Rosario'.
