Specifications:

-2 Camera operator
-1 Production assistant/technical director to operate mixing board (used to switch views between the 2 cameras and the presentations) and apply graphics or titles with speakers' names

"then you win" project will provide a Sony PD170 camera with tripod and other tools such as a set of mics (interviews, shotgun, etc.) if they are present. They propose as well a workshop that can be combined or merged to this Video Documentation initiative. BTW because of post-production requirements Raw-DV signal sent by the cameras on the schema should be stored. --Mammique 14:09, 10 March 2008 (EDT)


Day 0, 29 July:

Academy:

- The introduction at the beginning of the day
- Each of the English talks (Lessig, Zittrain, Lemos - about 30-45 minutes each) [STREAM into SL]

CCI Legal Day: ?

Other: A few minutes of footage of people registering and of Cascoland setting up their exhibits

Day 1, 30 July:

- Keynotes (9-10am): Uploaded as separate talks (20 minutes each x 3 speakers) [STREAM into SL]
- Boilerroom (10-11am): A kind of showcase of what is up for grabs in the programme in the very large room
- A few minutes of the 'conversation break' and poster sessions in the tea break room (11-11.30am)
- Conference room session? 11.30-1pm (how do we want to break this up - or do we even want it? doesn't make sense to have 1.5 hour videos - no one listens :) answer - maybe we can get people to include a summary in their session and that is what gets recorded?
- Lunch - nothing - videographers can take a break - what about getting some vox pops of how people are finding the conference so far? (for marketing purposes - short snippets; not recording over the entire lunch time) Nokia N95's distributed.
- Conference room session (14.00-15.30) (see above)
- Conversation break - nothing - videographers can take a break?
- Keynotes (16-17.00) - Uploaded as separate talks (20 minutes each x 3 speakers) [STREAM into SL]
- Do we want interviews of leading lights of the movement eg keynotes and even sponsors? (this would apply to the entire conference - not day specific)- Yes.

Day 2, 31 July:

- Report back (1-2pm) Capture and edit the entire report back session [STREAM into SL]

Requirements for Streaming Live into SL:
-Movie files must be compressed using Quicktime format
-Install and run Quicktime Broadcaster (or other similar streaming broadcast software)
-Use the output from the video camera/video source as the input source for Quicktime broadcaster
-Upload the source to the streaming server
