ISummit 2006/Coverage

From ICommons wiki

We want the iSummit Coverage website to be a reflection of the collaboration and sharing that is taking place at the iCommons Summit. We have included various tools for you, the reader, whether present at the Summit or not, to be involved in contributing to this site and other collaborative media projects taking place at the Summit.

Flickr

Taking photos at the conference? Share your images with others through the Coverage website! Upload your photos to your Flickr account, or if you don't have an account, sign up here. Once you have uploaded your photos, tag them isummit06 and your images will automatically appear on the Flickr feed on the front page of the Coverage site, Thus allowing you to contribute to the archive of pictures and images from the Summit.

Technorati

Would you like to add your news and views about the iSummit to our Coverage site? Whether you are attending or not, whether you write in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Russian or any other language; we want you to write for us!

If you have a Technorati account, go to 'Configure blog', then add the tag 'Rio iSummit' and click 'save'. Once you have written your entry about the Summit, tag it 'Rio iSummit', and it will automatically appear on the front page of the Coverage site.

Collaborative Film Project, Sponsored by Google

If you are registered participant at the Summit, go to the Registration desk and check out a video camera for a while. We want you to gather your own footage, interview people around you and take shots of the Summit in action. We will download the results, and we will be editing the short clips into a longer film, reflecting the vibe and experiences which you, the participants, have documented. Look out for the announcement of the final film, which will be made available to download from the internet.
